This router position is approximately 50% in office, programming in AutoCad and Solidworks, and 50% on the shop floor, performing machine operations.

A well-known mechanical contractor based in York County, PA is looking for an HVAC service and install technician to join its growing staff as quick as quick can be! This new member of staff should have training and 5+ years of HVAC field experience. License or journeyman papers are not required but helpful; this company operates in such a way that often technicians are apprenticed into a journeyman program if not hired with papers.

This position requires someone with a depth of understanding of common commercial Heating and Air Conditioning units so as to perform installations, upgrades, and maintenance (both preventative and troubleshooting methods). A variety of tools will be used in this job, so someone with an attention for detail and strong mechanical inclination, ability to read prints and be self-motivated is absolutely necessary. In this position, a technician may encounter the need to repair any number of issues including electrical, plumbing, gas, or controls work.

This position is a full-time, temp to hire (will be permanent) position. It is expected to pay around $20 per hour, depending on the skills and certifications a candidate brings to the job. Benefits are available during the temporary period, and after hire as well. Candidates should be able to pass a drug test and background check, and have a clean driving record.
