Pinnacle Health Hospice assists children in the grieving process. These children have lost a parent, sibling, or grandparent.
Staff members of JFC recently participated in Camp Dragonfly, a weekend bereavement camp held during the month of June. The weekend was full of activities and sessions to help the children work through their feelings, and to help them realize that they are not alone.
The staff of JFC has also been holding corporate dress down days where staff members can donate $5 to dress down. Most recently, the staff of JFC held a pretzel sandwich sale, which raised over $520.00. To date, JFC has raised over $2700, which is just over halfway to the goal, which is to raise $5000. Potential upcoming events include a yard sale, candy bar sale and much more!
